Raise your hand if your recent attempts at Christmas shopping have ended up as shopping sprees for yourself.
Guilty!
There’s a scene in Serendipity in which Jonathan says to Sara, “I hope you enjoy the gloves you bought yourself,” and she says, “Oh, I’m sure I will. I usually enjoy my own thoughtfulness.”
Sara is me. Sara is you. Sara is all of us while Christmas shopping.
Over the weekend Rifle Paper Co. had their Holiday Sidewalk Sale, bringing out all the high-class hipsters like myself to the mothership in Hannibal Square. If you haven’t checked out Rifle or their amazing sidewalk sales, I’m not quite sure what you’re doing with your life.

Find out about the next Rifle sale (and join me, since I’m usually the first person there):
- Make sure to follow @riflepaperco on Instagram to find out about their next sale.
- Sign up for their email list.
- Get to the sale as soon as you can. Seriously. DROP EVERYTHING YOU ARE DOING. Cards are usually $4.50 but you can get them for $1 during the sales.
I also braved the insane crowds at Bath & Body Works because 3-wick candles were $8.50 (usually $22.50) and I will do anything to make my house smell like a winter wonderland.

Anyway, I’ll stop rambling now so that you can check out some of our wedding pictures. I’ve actually had them for about three weeks now, but the thought of uploading hundreds of pictures on Facebook and having non-stop notifications for days has stopped me from sharing them.
I shared this at church with Jeanette from J’s Every Day Fashion and she said that instead of uploading the images from her wedding, she emailed everyone a link to view them. Everyone was happy and she didn’t have to throw her phone in the ocean.
So without further adieu… Click here and knock yourself out, friends.
How was your weekend? Did you hit up any sales?
xx
[…] This year has been hard to keep up with. I successfully navigated through the first year of my first adult job, signed up for a 401k (still confused about the details), got health insurance, bought a house and got married. […]
